My name is Monika Müller. I am a rider and licensed trainer in The Academic Art of Riding by Bent Branderup®. In this form of riding I have found a joyful, positive and humble method of training riders and their horses. The Academic Art of Riding is based on the knowledge of great riding masters such as Xenophon, Guerinière, Pluvinel and Steinbrecht.

The philosophy is that dressage was created for the horse rather than the horse being created for dressage. The Academic Art of Riding is based around the biomechanics of the horse and is suitable for all breeds and riders, irrespective of their age, ability or chosen discipline.

I believe that all riders wish for their horse to be

strong, supple and healthy. But more than that,

riders and their horses want to have fun together.

The Academic Art of Riding provides an

education that promotes these ideals while

teaching rider and horse to communicate in a

relaxed and positive way.
